Path for Brunch
Path is a bistro-style restaurant that recently opened in Yoyogi Koen area in 2015. Chef Taichi Hara, Chef pâtissier Yuchi Goto and the staff members are behind the counter preparing almost every dish from scratch.
From the moment you step into the joint, the irresistible smell of freshly baked bread puts you in a good mood.
Delicate croissants, madeleines, and other baked goods are prepared daily. Path is open at 8:00 AM, becoming an excellent option for early birds who want to get a bite first thing in the morning.
Their Morning brunch menu includes bold dishes such as a plate of cream braised sausage & freshly-baked biscuit, a tasty kale and pomegranate salad, a bowl of creamy sweet potato soup & toast, among other scrumptious options. The ingredients they chose to construct their dishes are simple yet rich in taste and quality. The menu is stationary, but it is because of the execution of the same dishes over and over again that perfection becomes possible.
This time, we opted for the Ham & Camembert Sandwich. Although simple at the first glance, one bite of this homemade ham and toast smothered in butter and warm, gooey camembert cheese will soothe your mind.
We also ordered their Kale, Quinoa & Pomegranate Salad. The salad comes with slices of fresh tomato and roasted nuts. Its zesty dressing, combined with the bold flavors of fresh cheese and pomegranate, gives the Kale and quinoa an unexpected fresh kick. The salad was quite light yet it delivered real spicy sweetness for the soul.
Whether you visit Path for a quick breakfast by yourself or go with friends for a leisurely brunch, their menu will leave you wide awake and satisfied to enjoy your day ahead.
